Good evening from a mild, though colder day than the last few days. The current temperature is 39 F.

It’s been a good day, but also a strange day. I brought up a Bible study I did a couple of weeks ago I wanted to share at Bible study this morning. As soon as I hit print, my monitor went black. It wouldn’t respond to anything, so I thought it was dead. At least I had the study to take with me.

I got out my laptop, but couldn’t find the power cord anywhere. I messaged the Bible study group to find out if they had a spare cord, no. Okay, I ordered one from Amazon. It would arrive on Sunday. I told my friend whose church I go to for Bible study that I would be going through withdrawal as I wouldn’t be on the computer before Sunday.

I’m thankful for what happened next. As I walked the hallway getting my steps before we left for Bible study, the Lord told me to look in my closet in a box. When I got back to my apartment, I went right to the closet, found the box and pulled out the power cord. I canceled the Amazon order and plugged in the laptop.

I’m thankful for Bible study this morning. I presented the study for our opening devotion. Our study from the book The Awe of God was very good. I let the teacher know what a great job she’s doing as the teacher.

I’m thankful for what happened when I got home. I started to unplug the computer to put the laptop on the desk. However, as soon as I started to move the monitor, it came to life. I still have the laptop plugged in, but I don’t need it. Praise God! I am not a laptop person.

I’m thankful for my hearing aids. I have my new hearing aids. They’re different from the ones I had before. The audiologist paired them with my phone and showed me how to fit them in my ears and how to work them for various functions, music, restaurant, and personal. It’s so different from the other ones. I lowered the volume on the TV tonight.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm. I got another chapter edited and worked on adding new descriptions to what was there. I’m so happy I got the feedback I got on Sunday from my friends.
