Good evening from cold Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s currently 27 F and feels like 17 F. It’s a great way to start Spring. 🤣
Today was a good day. This morning went well. I saw my doctor for my annual med check and Medicare wellness exam. Things are looking good. I’ll be taking one more supplement – B12. My infusion didn’t go as well as I hoped it would. It took them 35 minutes to get the IV started. I have very tiny veins. They tried using the vein finder. When that didn’t work, they used ultrasound. However, I’m thankful it’s over with for another six weeks.
I’m thankful for Canasta this afternoon. We played the Samba version of Canasta with teams of three. My team won. So, that made the day really good.
Tonight my neighbor and I settled in for a movie musical – The Music Man from my library of DVDs. I didn’t realize how long it was. However, it’s an enjoyable movie.
I’m also thankful for the work I did on Firestorm. I’m adding description. It’s coming along well. I’m on chapter 11.
I’m thankful I remembered to text my grandson and wish him a Happy Birthday. He’s my oldest grandchild. He turned 33 today. I also sent texts to my daughter and younger son, and my granddaughter wishing them a wonderful day.
I’m also thankful I could spend the morning with you before I left for the doctor and hospital appointments.
Okay, that’s my day. My goal to lose weight by today didn’t happen, but it will. It’s water weight, so it should come off easy. I hope. I don’t have any more holidays or birthdays to worry about in the near future.
What are you thankful for today. Let me know in the comments. The image belongs to me.
