It snowed yesterday and I woke up to a beautiful white vista this morning. Or well, it will look beautiful when the sun arrives in my corner of the world. It’s still dark, predawn at 5:37 AM. I’ve been awake since 3. I wanted to get my Bible study done and spend some time with you before I left for the better part of the day.

First up is my doctor appointments. Two back to back appointments at 7:30 and 8 AM. My medication check and then the annual wellness exam. Then it’s across town for my six week infusion at the hospital at 10 AM. I opted to get this all done at once. Done and over. I hate needles so the infusion won’t be fun, especially since I don’t have cooperative veins. Last time they tried four times before they finally got the IV started.

I should have the medical finished by 11 if all goes right. Then it’s home for a relaxing day at the card table. People have moved or have gripes with other players so the number of players has dwindled. So, it’s not always Canasta, but we still have fun.

I should be back on the computer by 3:30 or 4 PM. We’ll see how it works. I will need to eat when I get home from the hospital as I never eat before medical appointments. I need the scale to at least give a reasonable weight. I’m really hoping for it today. With St. Patrick’s Day meals two days in a row, I gained four pounds. I didn’t eat much yesterday, so I’m hoping for something reasonable on the scale this morning.

That’s a look at my day. What does your day look like? I’d like to know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The image is from the front of my building taken sometime this year, not yesterday.

I hope all goes well at your appointments and you can come home and relax and play cards with your friends. I will be working from 1 pm to 9 pm today. Be safe, Valerie 🙂

It went well with the doctor. My veins played hide and seek. It took 35 minutes to get the IV started.
