Good afternoon from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s a beautiful day here. Lots of sunshine, though the wind is chilly.

There is always something to be thankful for. Today, I was greeted by WordPress with a congratulations for being here for four years. Frankly, I might have signed up for WordPress all those years ago, but I’ve only been active for the past few months when I set up my website here. Still, it was wonderful for the site to notice me.

I’m thankful I got my computer work done this morning. Reading your posts, playing my brain games keep me alive and kicking. I also get my morning humor from your posts and those always put a smile on my face. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’m thankful I could walk on the trail today. That’s when I found it was chilly out there, but it was a wonderful walk around the pond. The city burned the pond a few days ago.

The biggest concern from people I talked with is that the geese had their nests along the pond and those are gone too along with the brush.

What it looked like before they burned it.

I’m thankful for my hair appointment today. I look human again.

I’m thankful we (my neighbor and I) went shopping after my hair appointment. I was almost out of bananas. I also picked up cubed watermelon and grapes. For me to be out of bananas is a crime. I need my bananas. Lately I’ve been eating two to three a day.

I’m thankful my home health nurse called this morning. He first called about two maybe three years ago, shortly after I moved in here. He told me his name, and told me he would do a health visit. I gave him one chance because the previous nurse who said she would come, never showed up and I opted not to do the home health visit after that. That time when he called, I told him I would accept a visit only if he promised to show up. He showed up and I’ve seen him several times since. What I love about Justin is that he remembers the small details. He’s not only about the health side, but the human side. He knows I’m an author and asks what I’m working on. He’s very personable. He’s doing an in-home visit in August.

I’m thankful I have all my steps for the day and heart points. I love walking and it’s good for the heart.

I’m thankful I worked on Firestorm today. It’s reading well. A few changes and additions today, so it’s looking and sounding good.

Okay, that’s my day. I’m going to let my neighbor know I’m off the computer for the night and watch television together.

What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments. The images belong to me. Thanks for reading.
