Aren’t we all public figures? Do we always agree with everyone; friends, neighbors, authorities? Is any one person more disagreeable than the next? We all have people we disagree with from time to time. No one person is more disagreeable than the next.
People get into heated arguments about certain people and what they did or proposed to do. Politics is the most heated debate. Then you have your sports role models. No two people can agree with who the best sports figure is, even when the stats are available to them. People disagree with pastors, teachers, the checkout clerk at the grocery store.
People love to complain about everything. It’s their nature. Abraham Lincoln said: You can please some of the people some of the time; some of the people all the time, but you can’t please all the people all the time.
People even disagreed with Jesus and nailed Him to the cross. Were they right to do so? Yes. Otherwise you wouldn’t have salvation. However, even in Bible study, Christians disagree with what the Bible says and make new doctrine. Even Jesus can’t please everyone.
As long as people are born, live, and die, they will find someone to disagree with. Consider the person you disagreed with last. No one is exempt. We are all public figures.
