Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s 64 F and we have an air quality alert in effect for the entire state due to Canadian wildfires.
I know you didn’t see me today. I had a hard time sitting at the computer today. I’ll try to get to all of you tomorrow to read your posts.
I’m thankful for my heating pad and recliner. Also Ibuprofen. Right now, my back feels better than it has all day. I’m also thankful for my walker. I got it back in 2020 when I had my knee replacement surgery. It used to belong to my mother. Now, it’s mine.
I’m thankful for accomplishing my steps. It took all day, walking the hallway one lap at a time until this evening when I could finally get more than one lap and finish my 6000 steps. Though I didn’t get many heart points today, but that’s okay. 150 is the weekly goal and I accomplished that a couple of days ago. I thought about using the foot cycle to get my heart points, but I didn’t want to aggravate my back even more than it already is.
I’m thankful for the few paragraphs I wrote today on Firestorm. I’m still on the first page of chapter 15. I know where it’s going and how to get there. I only need my back to cooperate to get it written.
It was a nice quiet day, for which I’m thankful. I watched a lot of television while I rested my back. I’m hoping tomorrow it will be much better and I can stow the walker and go about life as usual. Though it’s doubtful I’ll be going outside yet to walk the trail. Maybe next week. We’ll see.
I’m also thankful for the reading I did on Elusive Common Sense. I’m almost finished with it.
Okay, that’s my day, and my back is telling me I’ve been sitting here long enough. About five minutes is about all I can do right now. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
