Good evening from hot and humid Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. We were in the 90s today with the heat index over 100.

Still, I am thankful.

I’m thankful I got out on the trail at 5:30 this morning. It was 73 F with a heat index at 77. The best part about the walk on the trail was the breeze. It’s been windy all day. It was a nice plus.

I’m thankful for the shopping I did this morning with my neighbor before it got too hot. I needed bananas and I wanted some sleeveless tops for this heat. We went to Walmart.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm. Not as much as yesterday, but I did set up the next scene. I’ll work more on it on Monday, I hope.

I’m thankful for the movie I watched today, another in my asteroid, meteor, comet themed movies. I know the changes I need to make when I get to the second draft. Right now, I’m focused on finishing the first draft.

Okay, that’s my day. I’ve done my best to stay cool and hydrated in this heat. Two more days before we cool off.
