Good afternoon from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin. It sounds like it stopped, but that’s only temporary. Rain is in the forecast until midnight. We need it. No complaints here.

It’s been a good day.

I’m thankful for the eight hours of sleep I got. It’s not normal, but I’ve been getting eight hours a night for the past week.

I’m thankful I got the laundry done this morning. I still need to get it put away, but at least it’s done.

I’m thankful for the steps I got when my neighbor asked me to go with her to Walmart this morning. I didn’t need anything, bananas, but I didn’t like how they looked. I still have a couple. I did get an aluminum pan for the church picnic on Sunday. It will be easy cleanup when I’m through with it. Just throw it away.

I’m thankful I have all my steps and heart points for the day. I’ll still work the foot cycle when I watch television.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm. I’m working out one of the details my friend told me I completely neglected. I don’t even know why I didn’t think about it when I first wrote that section. I’m taking care of it now. That’s two holes filled in the past week.

I’m thankful I could be here and read your posts. I always learn something from all of you. I appreciate you visiting my humble posts and giving me a like.

Okay, that’s my day and the games I played to keep my brain sharp. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

I’m thankful I was able to get a walk in before it got too hot. Thankful for a bag of tomatoes and cucumbers a friend gave me — I made salsa and freezer pickles. What will you take to your church pot luck? I always use disposable containers too, no need to wash them or worry about getting them back 🙂

I’m making tuna mac and cheese. It’s something I made from the top of my head a year ago and absolutely love it. So do those who tried it. I made it for a potluck here last summer and it went over well. I use gluten free pasta. I’m gluten intolerant. If I have leftovers, I’ll share with my friends here who love it.

A bag of tomatoes and cucumbers from a friend makes the day perfect.
