Good evening from a pleasant day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s currently 68 F and got to 76F today.
It’s been a good day.
I’m thankful for Bible study this morning. We didn’t focus on the study, but on prayer this morning as it was a short session this morning. Several of the women in the study are on the elder board and their pastor wanted the meeting early today as he had surgery this afternoon. I hope and pray he’s doing well.
I’m thankful for the walk I had around the pond trail when I got home. My days of walking the trail are coming to an end. It’s getting hard for me to walk the trail. I hope it’s only because I added on some weight I need to get rid of and not because of my age.
I’m thankful my daughter called this afternoon. I messaged her this morning that I wanted her to call this afternoon so we could talk. We talked for an hour. It was wonderful! It’s been a while since we talked, and not texted. We talked about everything.
I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm. Not a lot, but every sentence is a step forward for the story.
I’m thankful for the time I spent here with you, reading your posts. You all inspire me and I appreciate it.
I’m thankful I remembered to put the pasta in my chili. Wisconsinites put pasta in their chili. I almost forgot it when I made it today. It’s not chili without pasta. I try to tell people from other states that, but they only look at me strange. It’s a Wisconsin thing.
Okay, that’s my day. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
