Daily writing prompt
What’s the trait you value most about yourself?

The most important trait I value, not only in myself, but also in others is honesty. Honesty was instilled in me as a child. Dishonesty had consequences, often painful. I learned quickly that honesty is valued above most other traits. It’s the one I value in myself and look for in others.

Honesty opens doors to friendship. It shows people can depend on me to do what I promise. Honesty gives me a clear conscience. I don’t need to remember the lie I told to cover up any wrong doing, because honesty doesn’t lie. People see me as a woman of integrity because of my honesty.

What trait do you value most about yourself? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
