Good afternoon, from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s a nice mild day in Northeast Wisconsin.
I realized this morning I forgot to post a thankful post yesterday, so I’ll do that now.
Yesterday was a good day. Day three of the 50K writing challenge. I’m doing well at writing 2000+ words per day.
I’m also thankful for the shopping I did yesterday. I needed a few things for a dinner party I’m hosting soon. No date set, but it’s good to be ready. I’m also filling shoe boxes for Samaritan’s Purse Christmas shoe boxes. I decided to buy for the 10-14 group this time. In the past I bought gifts for the younger children, not infants. I have only a couple more things I want to get for the boxes and then I’ll take them to church, hopefully this Sunday.
Now, for today.
I’m thankful for a non-busy day. It was originally going to be back to back activities. I got a call from my hairdresser yesterday canceling the appointment for today. That eased my day somewhat. This morning I decided not to go to Bible study. Without a guaranteed way home, I’m cutting that one out from now on. That leaves only Writer’s Guild tonight. My ride will be here in an hour. I’m ready.
I’m thankful for the 10 hours of sleep I got last night. I went to bed exhausted from all the shopping we did yesterday, my neighbor and me. My Fitbit isn’t showing 10 hours, but when you go to bed at 6:30 and get up at 4:30, that’s ten hours. I’m feeling great with all the sleep. Though my back is still stiff and walking the hallway is exhausting. I really did a number yesterday. The good thing is I have all my required steps. I only need to get the next three hours for the Fitbit hourly steps.
I’m thankful for the 2000+ words I wrote today. It took most of the day to get them for the book Firestorm. It’s coming along well. I’m still hoping I have 50K left on this book. If not, I’ll work on another book until I hit 50K for the month.
Okay, that’s my day. It’s day 39 of my fast. Tomorrow is the last day and then I will be back with you interacting on your posts on Thursday.
What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
