Good evening from COLD Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s currently 39 F with a real feel of 34 F. It’s also windy making it feel colder than it is.
First let me express my gratitude to the men and women who severed in the armed forces of their respective countries. You are a blessing. I know because it was my pleasure to serve my country with honor.
It has been a good day. At times I didn’t know how this day would work out, but it did, and I’m grateful.
I’m thankful for the text message from my hair stylist this morning, rescheduling my hair appointment to this afternoon after the loss of her husband’s brother-in-law in the past week. I no longer look like a bush that needs trimming.
I’m thankful for the work I did getting the apartment ready for the dinner party on Thursday. I have the floors washed. Tomorrow, I will vacuum and dust. Then I need to do something about my bedroom. It’s cluttered. It will all probably end up in my closet or the storage closet.
I’m thankful for the shopping we did this morning. We went to Walmart so I could get apples for the apple crisp and milk for the children. I also got a couple more items for the baby. I’m ready for the dinner party. I also bought a movie for myself – the three movie trilogy of Downton Abby. I’m going to enjoy those when November is over and I’m not in a rush to finish Firestorm.
I’m thankful for the writing I did today on Firestorm. I didn’t think I would have time to write today, but I did. I just finished. Not as many words as the last couple of days, only 2078. I hit the halfway point and earned the 25K badge.
I’m thankful for spending time with you this morning. It’s always a pleasure to ready your amazing posts.
Okay, that’s my day. I’m considering going to bed early tonight, even without watching television. It was a busy day. With everything, I also got my steps. I have 15,762 steps today.
What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
