Before this day becomes history, as it did yesterday, I’m going to bring you what I’m thankful for today, because it truly was a good day.
Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s supposed to be snowing, but it’s not. It’s 11:21 PM on Thursday night. The forecast showed snow and lots of it. I even saw the map, so I wonder where it went.
However, this isn’t a weather report. It’s a thankful post.
I’m thankful for the way the day unfolded. I woke early, 3 AM and got my laundry in the washer by 3:30 and out of the dryer by 5.
I’m thankful for the chiropractor appointment. It was a month since I saw her. The adjustment was wonderful. I needed a complete alignment.
I’m thankful for the hospital appointment. I’m glad it only took two pokes and no more to get the IV started. I prefer one, but since it was no more than two, I’m happy. I have such small veins and crooked, it’s hard to get it started. That’s done now for six weeks.
I’m thankful for the shopping we did afterwards. My neighbor is my driver for everything except church. We went to Costco for gas and a couple of items. One they didn’t have. Then we went to another store. I got meat for the freezer. They didn’t have what I was looking for at Costco either and it makes me wonder if, after all these years Clorox 2 has been discontinued.
I’m thankful we also went out to eat for lunch. With my neighbor’s bruised ribs I thought it would be best so she wouldn’t need to make anything to eat for herself.
I’m also thankful for the work I did on New Horizons – Predators and Terrorists, another novel I’m editing. I’ll be finished with it soon, then I’ll actively work on Faith to Believe to get it published.
I’m thankful I could spend time with you today, reading your posts.
So, you see, it was a wonderful day with much to be thankful for.
