Yea! I’ve won the Lottery. Now, what will I do with all that money?
I don’t play the Lottery, so winning would be impossible. However, if I did win, the first thing I would notice about my winnings would be that the government would take their cut off the top and leave me with the rest.
The first thing I would do would be to give the tithe on the whole to God. I’m not just saying that, I do it all the time and have done it with whatever I receive. I know that God will supply me everything I need when I honor Him first in everything.
Second, I would know God would have a purpose for me having that money. I would seek His will for it and give accordingly.
Third, I would take a vacation or buy a home in the one place I want to live more than any other – Alaska. It’s my dream to go there, to live there, and enjoy everything Alaska has to offer. It’s the number one thing on my bucket list.
Fourth, I would travel. I would visit my grandchildren scattered across the country. I would visit those places I’ve only dreamed about.
That’s what I would do if I won the Lottery. It’s a nice dream.
In a way, I’ve already won the Lottery. The day I accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, I won eternal life and nothing beats that.
