Day 12 – Love
Proverbs 14:16 A wise man fears and departs from evil, but a fool rages and is self-confident. 17 A quick-tempered man acts foolishly, and a man of wicked intentions is hated.
- God’s names:

- Gracious
People of integrity will see others for who they are and stay away from those who act wickedly; while those who give themselves to their own merits will be over-confident and rage against those who don’t fall in step with them. They become quick-tempered and act out of the foolish intentions of their hearts. Their lives are built on hate while the person of integrity thrives on love.
Solomon saw the difference between a person who stood in awe of JEHOVAH and forsook evil, and the fool who acted out of anger and self-confidence in their abilities. They acted foolishly from anger. Wicked intentions never left their hearts and everything they did was out of hatred, while the person who followed JEHOVAH reverenced Him and acted out of love.
Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above everything, and desperately wicked; who can know it? 10 I, JEHOVAH, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.
People with wicked intentions will receive the consequences of their behavior. JEHOVAH searches the hearts and minds of everyone and will reward those who follow Him.
As followers of Yeshuwa, you stand in awe and reverence Him, looking to do His will and follow His ways. You see foolish people who want nothing to do with Yeshuwa, whose hearts are continually evil, who rage at everything, and condemn those who live lives of integrity and love. The current riots are a good example of the foolishness of people who follow their own ways and pull others in so they too will follow them.
When you act out of awe and love for Yeshuwa, you will always receive the benefits of a life of service to Him.
Psalm 103:1 (A Psalm of David.) Bless JEHOVAH, O my soul; and everything within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless JEHOVAH, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives your iniquities, who heals your diseases, 4 who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. 6 JEHOVAH executes righteousness and justice for everyone who is oppressed. 7 He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. 8 JEHOVAH is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. 9 He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever. 10 He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor punish us according to our iniquities. 11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
When you consider everything, you have as a Christian, nothing a foolish person does will affect your relationship with Yeshuwa. You will remain faithful and steadfast in everything you do. They will receive their reward — eternity without Him.
Let’s pray: Father, Your love is the anchor of my life. Keep me in the hollow of Your hand and do not let me stray from Your Word. Give me discernment when foolish people come my way and help me to always show Your love to everyone. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
