Daily writing prompt
Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.

My ideal day from beginning to end:

  1. The first thing I do in the morning is spend time in Bible study. A day without this most important step, brings nothing but trouble. When I start out the day in God’s Word, I have my armor on that protects me from Satan’s temptations.
  2. Writing – Right now, I’m in the process of publishing my next book – Faith to Believe. I have a beta reader. So as soon as I get the manuscript from her, I will go through it again, making corrections, and then I will publish it through KDP. I also write – whether it’s here, writing blogs, or on myLot doing the same, or working on a book. Writing is what I do, and I don’t do it alone. I do it with the help of the Holy Spirit who directs my writing. I also use AI in the editing and revision process. This is where I see first-hand how involved God is in my writing and the covenant I made with Him when I started writing my first published book, Scarred. He truly puts my stories together. Without Him, I could not write.
  3. Eating – At some point this morning, I will take a necessary break from the computer, get dressed and eat before returning here. I also do my best to eat a healthy dies. It doesn’t always work, but it does most of the time.
  4. Sleeping – Everyone needs sleep. When I’m in writing mode, as I am right now, I get only enough sleep to recharge my brain – usually 4-5 hours a night. Last night it was four hours, I believe.
  5. Exercise – Since I had COVID in December and January, exercise – walking has taken a toll. I don’t seem to have the energy I had before that dreaded disease. I’m working up to my previous goal of 9 walks around the hallways during the winter months when I can’t get to the trail. Right now, it’s one successful trip. I also have a walker that impedes my step count on my Fitbit. So, I work my wrist after every minute I use the walker. It’s not the most ideal, but at least I get my steps for the day.
  6. Relaxation – I play online games and watch television at the end of the day. I also like to read, but that has been limited due to my getting books ready to publish.

That’s a look at my ideal day. What does your day look like? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
