Every day you see or hear news about wickedness in the world, and you wonder when justice will come to those who commit such wickedness. When you see justice happen or you hear about their death, you feel safe again.

As king, Solomon met many people wicked and righteous. When he became king, JEHOVAH asked him what he wanted Him to do for him. Solomon asked for wisdom to rule Israel. He recognized JEHOVAH was Israel’s king and wanted to do right by the people. That meant stamping out wickedness and assuring a place of refuge for JEHOVAH’S people.

1 Kings 3:3 Solomon loved JEHOVAH, walking in the statutes of his father David, except that he sacrificed and burned incense at the high places. 4 Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place. Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. 5 At Gibeon JEHOVAH appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and Elohiym said, “Ask! What shall I give you?” 6 Solomon said: “You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. 7 Now, O JEHOVAH my Elohiym, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. 8 Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted. 9 Therefore, give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who can judge this great people of Yours?” 10 The speech pleased Adonay, that Solomon had asked this thing. 11 Then Elohiym said to him: “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, 12 behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor will any like you arise after you.

When Yeshuwa became your Soter and Kurios, you wanted His justice on wicked people. You knew your safety was only found in Yeshuwa.

You cannot change mans heart to cause him to bring justice to an evil society. However, you can change the heart of the Basileus when you pray. He is the only one who can bring justice and remove wickedness. He is your refuge and strong tower. The righteous run into it and are saved.

Psalm 61:3 For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy. (NKJV)

Proverbs 18:10 The name of JEHOVAH is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

You can have confidence that Yeshuwa will keep you safe and He will bring justice on the wicked.

I have seen it in my life, and I’m sure you have seen it in yours. You only need to pray and keep on praying, never doubting what only Elohiym can do.

Let’s pray: Father, You remind me that I am safe with You. No matter what happens around me, or how much Satan wants to destroy my life with doubt and fear, You are right there to take care of me and keep me safe. Thank you. Remind me about Your presence in my life and I have nothing to fear because You are on my side because I trust in You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
