When I saw this prompt a while back, I didn’t know how to respond, because I didn’t know what was the most important to me, until I wrote a post on myLot. The best invention in my lifetime is the computer.

Why?

It took care of all my headaches with one easy feature, cut and paste. With the typewriter, I either needed to use whiteout for every misspelled word, or start over with a new sheet of paper. I went through a lot of paper. The computer took care of that with the cut and paste feature. Now, I can correct my typos and move paragraphs around where they work best. I can also change my phrasing as necessary, find the word that best fits the situation with Thesaurus.

The computer is the best thing to happen to me.
