What does your wealth portfolio look like? Do you have an investment advisor? How many friends do you have? Do they also have an investment advisor? What would happen today if you lost your wealth? Would you still have friends? Poor people don’t have wealth portfolios or investment advisors, and their friends are people they can rely on. They only have people who look down on them because they don’t have a wealth portfolio.
Solomon was wealthy, but he didn’t use his wealth to gain more wealth, he didn’t use it to gain friends. He knew the uselessness of fair-weather friends. Solomon knew that YAHWEH would provide everything he needed as JEHOVAH Jireh.
If Solomon forgot where his wealth came from, the Law reminded him that it wasn’t he who provided his wealth, but Elohiym.
Deuteronomy 8:17 And thou say in thine heart, my power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. 18 But you will remember YAHWEH thy Elohiym: for it is He that gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
When you accepted Yeshuwa as Soter and Kurios, He didn’t look at your investment portfolio to decide if you were worthy of salvation. He looked at the poor estate of your soul.
Revelation 3:14 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of Theos: 15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’ —and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore, be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Pater on His throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Pneuma says to the churches.”’”
Without Yeshuwa, you are like the church of Laodicea, poor, wretched, blind, miserable, and naked. Only He can give you eternal wealth. You cannot buy His wealth with silver or gold. You can only receive His wealth with a repentant heart. Your repentance opens the door for Him to come in and dine with Him. Through repentance Yeshuwa provides the wealth your soul needs.
When you have the wealth that only Yeshuwa can provide, you won’t run after this world’s wealth. You won’t seek friends with wealth portfolios and investment advisors. The only investment advisor you need is the Hagios Pneuma.
Do you have a wealth portfolio? Mine is found in Yeshuwa Christos.
Let’s pray: Father, give me a repentant heart that seeks only You and what You can provide me through Your Word. When the world closes in and wants me to choose worldly wealth over eternal wealth, let me always choose the wealth only You provide. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
