When I was younger, the age of me in this picture, I definitely believed in soulmates. I dreamed about a man who would love me unconditionally and we would live happily ever after. Because at my age, 13, in this picture, in eighth grade, all girls dreamed of the happily ever after.
I got married. I hoped I had found my happily ever after.

He said he loved me before we were married, but after the I do’s, he never said it again and he never really showed it. After 21 years of marriage, my happily ever after came to an end.
Does that mean I don’t believe in soulmates? No. I absolutely believe in them. I see it in other genuine marriages where the spouses love each other unconditionally. As for me, I found my soulmate in the unconditional love of Jesus Christ my Savior. I am truly happy now. And should He give me an earthly soulmate, it would be wonderful, but it isn’t necessary. He provides everything I need and a whole lot more. I love Him as unconditionally as He loves me.
