Day 178 – Truth

Proverbs 21:28 A false witness will perish, but the man who hears Him will speak endlessly.

• Soter – Savior
• Kurios – Supreme Authority
• Theos – Supreme Divinity
• Hagios Pneuma – Sacred, Holy, Violent Wind, Breath, Spirit

• God’s character:
• Truth

How many times have you heard about people who are well known for their informational talks. They sound like they know what they’re talking about, and you leave filled with new information and hope only to find out that the person was a fraud. Then there are credible people who have always spoken the truth and never led anyone astray with false hope.

People came into Solomon’s courts daily. He learned to discern the person who spoke the truth from the person who used flattering words to convince him. Solomon listened to YAHWEH and got his discernment from Him in everything people said to him. He told the people what would become of false witnesses.

Proverbs 19:5 A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will not escape.

YAHWEH would condemn the false witness.

Many Christians are duped by ministers who claim to preach the Word of YAHWEH, but what they hear doesn’t line up with what Scripture says. When you accepted Yeshuwa as Soter and Kurios, you had a Helper — the Hagios Pneuma — to help you discern what you heard and point you to the man or woman of Theos who teaches the Word of Theos with truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to Theos, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The Hagios Pneuma will show you who speaks Yeshuwa’s Word in truth and adds nothing to it. Let Him lead you to those who will feed you with the Word of Theos and not lead you astray with false doctrine.

Let’s pray: Father, give me discernment in everything I hear so I will know when a minister is teaching me Your true Word. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
