Day 191 – Faithful

Proverbs 22:12 The eyes of YAHWEH preserve knowledge, but He overthrows the words of the faithless.

  • God’s names:
  • YAHWEH/JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal
  • Yeshua/Iesous – Jesus
  • Soter – Savior
  • Kurios – Supreme Authority
  • Pneuma – Violent Wind, Breath, Spirit
  • El – Strength, Mighty, Almighty God
  • God’s character:
  • Knowledge
  • Faithful

Do you know people with photographic memory? They remember everything they see. With that kind of knowledge, what a person says becomes meaningless if they don’t speak the truth.

Solomon said YAHWEH sees everything and remembers those who are faithful to Him, but He overthrows the faithless. YAHWEH sees the heart and understands the motives of those who love Him and those who serve themselves.

Solomon’s father was a man who didn’t wait for YAHWEH to search Him, he knew He searched his motives every day. He knew everything about him. In the same way, Solomon knew YAHWEH searches everyone and preserves those who are faithful to Him.

Psalm 139:1 (For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.) O YAHWEH, You have searched me and known me. 2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thoughts afar off. 3 You comprehend my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O YAHWEH, You know it altogether. 5 You have hedged me behind and before and laid Your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it.

Many Christians believe that having accepted Yeshuwa as Soter and Kurios they have a get out of Hell free card. They believe they can continue to live the deceitful life they did before they became a Christian. They forget that Yeshuwa knows the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Salvation doesn’t work that way. If you accept Yeshuwa with conditions, you have not accepted Him. Yeshuwa looks for faithful people with pure motives.

Psalm 139:7 Where can I go from Your Pneuma? Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will hold me. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will fall on me,” Even the night will be light about me; 12 indeed, the darkness will not hide from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You.

You cannot hide who you are from Yeshuwa. He sees you plainly. He knows you better than you know yourself. He was there when you were conceived. He knew every thought you would have before you were born. You cannot hide from Yeshuwa.

Psalm 139:13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book, they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.

When someone knows you as well as Yeshuwa knows you, you cannot hide anything from Him. The only thing you can do is acknowledge your sin and surrender your life to Him. Then your prayer for salvation will be meaningful, and He will see you as faithful.

Then everything about Yeshuwa becomes precious in your sight. You know His love for you. It becomes precious in your sight because you are precious in His sight. Then you will praise Him and give Him glory for the wondrous YAHWEH He is and forever will be in your life.

You will know with certainty that your thoughts are precious to Him, that He will destroy the wicked, and you will confess your sin and ask Him to lead you through every day of your life.

Psalm 139:17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O El! How great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You. 19 Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O Elowahh! Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men. 20 For they speak against You wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain. 21 Do I not hate them, O YAHWEH, who hate You? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies. 23 Search me, O El, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; 24 and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.

Yeshuwa knows you. When you understand how much He loves you, you will not try to hide from Him. You will confess your sins right away. You will want to do His will. You will vacate the throne on your heart and give it to Him.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says YAHWEH, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Everything about you is precious to Him. Everything. Is He precious to you? Or will you find Him saying to you, “Depart from Me, I never knew you.”? When He says that to you, it will be too late.

You still have a choice. Yeshuwa stands at the door of your heart, knocking, waiting for you to answer Him. Will you open your heart to Him. Will you acknowledge Him as Soter and Kurios?

Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. (NKJV)

You cannot hide from Him.

Let’s pray: Father, search me and cleanse me from every sinful thought and intention. Make me as the apple of Your eye, faithful to You in everything I say and do. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
