Clutter is the best way to describe my style. In the past few weeks, I’ve actually gotten rid of half of what you see. At least it’s not in the living room any longer. I have houses and painted rocks. Oil lamps and knickknacks galore. I have six bookcases. You see two in the picture. I have past and present mixed together. The shelves on the wall are two of the four I have.

I have my parents table and my grandparents’ organ.

I have my grandparents’ kitchen table, that I used for my computer when I first moved to this apartment. The chair also belonged to my grandparents’.

So, as you can see, I have mixed styles in my decor.

Here is another knickknack shelf that displays not only my late brother’s flag, but also the ashes for two of my dogs and my mother’s Norman Rockwell figurines.

Here you see my parents’ secretary and bookcase. This is where it stood when I first moved into the apartment. You also see my favorite clock. I got that at Big Lots many years ago. The entertainment center my TV is on, also belonged to my parents.

Lots of history in the decor. All of it with much sentimental value.
