Day 212 – Plans

Proverbs 24:3 Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; 4 by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. 5 A wise man is strong, yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; 6 for by wise counsel you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

Everything you do in life with meaning and intention has planning and preparation. You don’t build a house without a blueprint. You don’t go to war without strategy. Wealth isn’t gained by begging. You go to people trained in the art of design, or you go to school and gain knowledge yourself. People seek counselors when they wage war. Everything in life takes strategy.

YAHWEH told Noah to build an ark. He gave him the plans and told him how to build it so that it would be large enough to hold two and seven pairs of every animal. YAHWEH told Solomon to build the temple and gave him the blueprint based on the same design He gave Moses in the wilderness when he built the tabernacle.

Exodus 35:4 And Moses spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which YAHWEH commanded, saying: 5 ‘Take from among you an offering to YAHWEH. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as an offering to YAHWEH: gold, silver, and bronze; 6 blue, purple, and scarlet thread, fine linen, and goats’ hair; 7 ram skins dyed red, badger skins, and acacia wood; 8 oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense; 9 onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod and in the breastplate. 10 All who are gifted artisans among you shall come and make all that YAHWEH has commanded: 11 the tabernacle, its tent, its covering, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets; 12 the ark and its poles, with the mercy seat, and the veil of the covering; 13 the table and its poles, all its utensils, and the showbread; 14 also the lampstand for the light, its utensils, its lamps, and the oil for the light; 15 the incense altar, its poles, the anointing oil, the sweet incense, and the screen for the door at the entrance of the tabernacle; 16 the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grating, its poles, all its utensils, and the laver and its base; 17 the hangings of the court, its pillars, their sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court; 18 the pegs of the tabernacle, the pegs of the court, and their cords; 19 the garments of ministry, for ministering in the holy place — the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to minister as priests.’”

1 Chronicles 22:1 Then David said, “This is the house of YAHWEH Elohiym, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.” 2 So David commanded to gather the aliens who were in the land of Israel; and he appointed masons to cut hewn stones to build the house of God. 3 And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails of the doors of the gates and for the joints, and bronze in abundance beyond measure, 4 and cedar trees in abundance; for the Sidonians and those from Tyre brought much cedar wood to David. 5 Now David said, “Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for YAHWEH must be exceedingly magnificent, famous and glorious throughout all countries. I will now make preparations for it.” Then David made abundant preparations before his death.

Solomon built the temple according to the plans laid out for him by his father.

As Christians, you plan, you go to school, you gain wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for everything you want to do in your life. It isn’t by chance that you succeeded with the plans Yeshuwa gave you the day you said yes to Him. He put His desire in you and gave you the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to see it through. He provided counselors to guide you and direct you in everything you did.

Luke 14:28 “For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it —  29 lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30 saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’ 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks for conditions of peace.

What did Yeshuwa put in your heart to do for Him and His kingdom? You need to use wisdom, get understanding, and knowledge. Seek counsel. Then everything Yeshuwa told you to do for Him will succeed.

Do not be like blind guides who try to do things on their own without counsel and direction. Satan wants you to fail in your work for Yeshuwa. The only way to succeed in the work and calling Yeshuwa gave you is through the Hagios Pneuma who will direct you to the education and training you need to fulfill Yeshuwa’s plan for your life.

Let’s pray: Father, help me to seek Your counsel in everything You give me to do for You. Give me the tools I need through training and education for Your work. Let me go in step with You and not run ahead of You in the work You give me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
