People face problems every day. It’s how they handle those problems that makes them weak or strong. Weak people whine and complain about everything. They want to hide from trouble instead of facing it head on. Strong people face trouble head on. It’s like they have a sword in their hands ready to destroy whatever trouble comes their way.
Solomon faced trouble head on. He didn’t run from it or complain to YAHWEH about his trouble; he took care of it. He learned it from his father. Every trouble David faced, he did it with prayer. It was his sword and strength.
Psalm 3:1 (A Psalm of David when he fled from Absalom his son.) YAHWEH, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise against me. 2 Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in Elohiym.” Selah 3 But You, O YAHWEH, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts my head. 4 I cried to YAHWEH with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill. Selah 5 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for YAHWEH sustained me. 6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around. 7 Arise, O YAHWEH; save me, O my Elohiym! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly. 8 Salvation belongs to YAHWEH. Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah
When you accepted Yeshuwa as Soter and Kurios, were you running from trouble? Did you stop and stand and tell your trouble, it would not trouble you anymore because you changed your allegiance to faith in the mighty sword of Yeshuwa?
Psalm 84:1 (To the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.) How lovely is Your tabernacle, O YAHWEH of Tsaba! 2 My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of YAHWEH; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living El. 3 Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young— even Your altars, O YAHWEH of Tsaba, My Melek and my Elohiym. 4 Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they will still be praising You. Selah 5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage. 6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a spring; the rain also covers it with pools. 7 They go from strength to strength; each one appears before Elohiym in Zion. 8 O YAHWEH Elohiym of Tsaba, hear my prayer; give ear, O Elohiym of Jacob! Selah 9 O Elohiym, behold our shield, and look upon the face of Your anointed. 10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my Elohiym than dwell in the tents of wickedness. 11 For YAHWEH Elohiym is a sun and shield; YAHWEH will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. 12 O YAHWEH of Tsaba blessed is the man who trusts in You!
When you accepted Yeshuwa, He changed you. Some felt the change immediately, for some it took time to see the change, but change always comes.
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now Kurios is the Pneuma; and where the Pneuma of Kurios is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of Kurios, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Pneuma of Kurios.
When you KNOW Yeshuwa changed you, you will stand with the sword of faith in your hands and declare your salvation to everyone who will listen and Satan will flee from you. He will know in that moment that he has no more hold on you. Every trouble and adversity he brought on you in the past will disappear. Your strength is in Yeshuwa. Your faith is in Yeshuwa. Your crowning glory is in Yeshuwa.
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If Theos is for us, who can be against us?
No one.
Let’s pray: Father, thank you for being my shield, my strength, my glory, and my salvation. Thank you for raising me out of the dust of despair, a slave to Satan and his trouble, and giving me new life in You. Help me to stand in my armor daily with the sword of Your Spirit in my hands ready to destroy every scheme Satan brings against me. No good thing will You will withhold when I trust in You. Give me Your strength. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
