One thing I try to do is support the authors in my Writer’s Guild. I bought two books in one member’s series. When I started reading book one, I couldn’t read more than a few pages. The author had taken God’s name and misused it as the name of a people who were much hated. I can’t read any book by someone who takes the Lord’s name in vain. And to do so in the way that he did is wrong. I understand there is the Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press in this country, but some things should never be printed or read. The name of the series is The Christjan Trilogy by Nathan Shifton. He only had two books ready and I bought both of them. I have them on the shelf of my closet. I have no intention of giving them away and I hate the idea of throwing books away, but I just might do that.
