Day 236 – Wisdom

Proverbs 27:3 A stone is heavy and sand is weighty, but a fool’s wrath is heavier than both of them. 4 Wrath is cruel and anger a torrent, but who is able to stand before jealousy?

• Yeshuwa/Iesous – Jesus
• Soter- Savior
• Kurios – Supreme Authority
• Hagios Pneuma – Violent Wind, Breath, Spirit

• God’s character:
• Wisdom

You can put stones and sand down but can’t put a fool down. His presence is always with you. His words and actions replay in your heart and mind, constantly reminding you of them wherever you go — seen or unseen. There is no one crueler than an angry jealous fool.

You’ve heard the taunt — Sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt you. It’s Satan’s biggest lie and Solomon knew it.

Solomon dealt with countless people in his courts as king, and in vineyards as a landowner. He saw the cruelty of fools and said they were weightier than stones or sand. No one could stand before their jealousy.

He could easily separate the wise from the foolish person. He also had the wisdom of YAHWEH to give him discernment when dealing with fools.

Solomon could speak to the people about what fools did to a person. Their wrath and jealousy were always in front of them.

Solomon spoke often about fools. One such shows that evil is a sport to fools.

Proverbs 10:23 To do evil is like sport to a fool, but a man of understanding has wisdom.

As Christians, you were among the foolish before you accepted Yeshuwa as Soter and Kurios. Without the Hagios Pneuma to convict your heart and show you the path of life, you would still be living foolish lives.

All we like sheep have been led astray. Satan did his best to keep you in the dark so that you wouldn’t accept Yeshuwa as Soter and Kurios. Yeshuwa had other plans for your life.

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, everyone, to his own way; and YAHWEH has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Without Yeshuwa’s crucifixion and resurrection, you would still be living foolish lives.

Paul told believers to stop sinning. Their sin did not lead to grace.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Should we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live any longer in it?

Shed the weight of your foolishness and let the light and love of Yeshuwa fill your life to overflowing.

Let’s pray: Father, keep foolishness from my heart and mind. Let me focus on You and on Your desires for my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
