Day 241 – Wisdom

Proverbs 27:11 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him who reproaches me.

• Kurios – Supreme Authority
• Theos – Supreme Divinity

• Wisdom

How often do we tell our children to act with wisdom in everything they do? Think before you act is something I heard often while growing up. A person who thinks before they do anything will be wiser than the person who just rushes ahead.

Solomon saw people every day who didn’t display wisdom in their actions. He cautioned his son to apply wisdom to everything he did. He often instructed his son to use the wisdom Adonay gave him. He told his son that his actions reflected not only on him, but also his mother.

Proverbs 10:1 The Proverbs of Solomon: A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son is the grief of his mother.

How often do you apply wisdom in your daily walk with Yeshuwa? When you take time to read and study Adonay’s Word before you begin your day, Yeshuwa will guide you through the remainder of the day.

2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to Theos, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

When you apply your heart to knowing Yeshuwa’s Word, you will find your actions will not offend anyone, and you will bring delight, not only to your parents, but to those who know you, and Yeshuwa, your Soter and Kurios.

Apply your heart to wisdom and you will find peace and joy in your life.

Let’s pray: Father, guard my life from impulsive actions that bring trouble instead of delight to You. Give me Your wisdom in everything I do. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
