It feels like we live in a world where good is bad and bad is good. Society had a standard of morals that not even Hollywood trespassed in the golden age of movies and television. And then the world turned upside down, and what used to be useful in everyday life is now considered bad. People need to tolerate each other and then look shocked when the things and people they tolerate turn around and kill them.
Solomon said there is nothing new under the sun. What was, will be again. He saw the same corruption among the people that we see today. Nothing has changed.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.
Society has taken the same picture and put a new coat of paint on it so it looks better, and people will accept what they wouldn’t before.
YAHWEH told His people to destroy the nations who didn’t obey Him when they came out of the wilderness. However, the people didn’t obey Him but allowed the people of the land to live among them and marry into their families.
Psalm 106:34 They did not destroy the peoples, concerning whom YAHWEH had commanded them, 35 but they mingled with the Gentiles and learned their works; 36 they served their idols, which became a snare to them. 37 They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, 38 and shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood. 39 Thus they were defiled by their own works and played the harlot by their own deeds. 40 Therefore the wrath of YAHWEH was kindled against His people, so that He abhorred His own inheritance. 41 And He gave them into the hand of the Gentiles, and those who hated them ruled over them. 42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. 43 Many times He delivered them; but they rebelled in their counsel and were brought low for their iniquity. 44 Nevertheless He regarded their affliction, when He heard their cry; 45 and for their sake He remembered His covenant and relented according to the multitude of His mercies. 46 He also made them to be pitied by all those who carried them away captive. 47 Save us, O YAHWEH our Elohiym, and gather us from among the Gentiles, to give thanks to Your holy name, to triumph in Your praise. 48 Blessed be YAHWEH Elohiym of Israel from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise YAHWEH!
Christians who read their Bibles and seek to obey Yeshuwa, understand what is happening in the world around them. You will find those Christians on their knees in prayer pleading with Yeshuwa to bring righteousness back.
Have you noticed that Satan has invaded the church? You can hear seemingly upright men and women of Elohiym telling people they need to be tolerant of those who don’t know Him. Satan has taken Scripture and given it a new coat of paint called tolerance. Christians need to be tolerant of those who flagrantly disobey YAHWEH’S laws. People have no shame. Even Christians look like they are being led by the nose to tolerate those things and people YAHWEH doesn’t tolerate.
Christians have mingled their lives with those who don’t know Yeshuwa and don’t want to know Him. They freely offer their lives and families on the altar of tolerance and turn a blind eye to the truth of YAHWEH’S Word.
One thing my parents said, and maybe yours did too, or maybe you’ve used this statement: Do you think I’m speaking just to hear myself speak?
YAHWEH didn’t give the Law to Moses just to hear Himself speak, but to let His people know right from wrong. He told them He would not tolerate wickedness, and those who follow Yeshuwa whole heartedly won’t tolerate wickedness either.
It’s time and past time for YAHWEH’S people to return to Him, fall down on their knees and recommit their lives to Him. It’s time and past time for Christians to pick up their Bibles and read what YAHWEH wrote in His Word, and then they need to obey it.
When you committed your life to Yeshuwa, you committed to a life of obedience to His Word. When you look at the world and see it for what it is, you will know the righteousness of a life lived in harmony with Yeshuwa and won’t tolerate the sinful world you see around you.
Where do you stand on the tolerance issue?
Let’s pray: Father, open my eyes to see what Satan has done in this world and where I have been tolerant of the sin that lives in every corner of my life. Purge me of everything that doesn’t line up with Your Word and give me a new and upright spirit that no evil can stand against. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
