What does it mean to be a good person?

Being good does not mean doing all the right things, saying the right things, or being everywhere at once, volunteering for everything a person wants you to do for them. That only exhausts you and gives you sleepless nights.

Being good means doing what God tells you to do. Trusting Him to take care of you, and being obedient to Him and His calling on your life. When you do that, you will start to know what being good really is. Being good is selfless – not selfish. It’s not giving yourself until you have nothing left to give. It’s giving your life to Jesus Christ and let Him show you what He wants you to do for Him.

Being good is serving – not being served.
